In the past the African people not much mingles with the modern trends of the Asian and Mediterranean people. But the time period from 800 to 1500 C.E has enhanced the mingling of the Africans with the rest of the world. Various changes as social, technical, economic and religious trends force them to change their attitude towards rest of the world. Islam came in Africa through various activities as trade, politics and through efforts of different religious scholars. Islam affects the government as well as the people of Africa. Few African states were linked with the army alliances and were under control of military. In eastern and western portions of Africa some states were linked with the major centers of trade. The southern part of the Sahara had lined with the modern world but still many areas were not linked
